Here’s one: The Thing in the Mirror

A girl moves into an old house with a dusty, cracked mirror in the attic. Every night, she hears faint scratches from up there, like nails on glass. One evening, too curious to ignore it, she climbs up and stares into the mirror. Her reflection smiles—but she isn’t. The scratches get louder, and her reflection’s eyes turn black. She runs downstairs, locks the attic, and swears never to go back. Next morning, the mirror’s in her bedroom, spotless, and her reflection waves. She didn’t.
